Lauryl Pate Chalfin, CSA, has specialized in the long term care insurance market since 1998 and has served as a National Trainer and Certified Instructor for Phyllis Shelton’s LTC Consultants since 1999. Phyllis is nationally known as one of the leading experts on the long term care insurance market and has been a true mentor to Lauryl. Lauryl shares Phyllis’ passion for helping Americans plan ahead for long term care and has been featured on numerous TV and radio talk shows discussing the issues surrounding long term care.
Lauryl serves on the Long Term Care Advisory Council, which is an educational and resource group for current laws and information on long term care. She is also an active member of the Senior Services Network, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and is a certified speaker for the Alzheimer’s Association. She is a proud member of Volunteer PAWS where she and her certified four-legged friends regularly visit residents in nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and hospitals. Lauryl has proudly served on the Board of Director’s for Walden’s Puddle Wildlife Rehabilitation Center since 1994. Walden’s Puddle is a non-profit organization that treats injured and orphaned native wildlife in Tennessee.
Not only does Lauryl council, advise and secure long term care insurance and annuities for her own clients, she works with CPA’s, financial planners, trust advisors, attorneys and other insurance agencies securing long term care insurance for their clients as well.
