About Bob Nardone

bobBob started his career as a financial planner working directly with consumers in the 1980s. He quickly became retail branch manager, product manager and regional vice president before moving to Excellus Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Rochester, NY, where he was an integral part of the marketing management team for 16 years. There, Bob received many sales awards and was a distinguished speaker and trainer for the BlueCard point of service program.

In 2001, he joined MedAmerica, a national long term care insurance carrier, where he served in various administrative roles including director of marketing, director of new accounts, and senior account consultant for national accounts.  That’s where his professional relationship with Phyllis Shelton and her organization began because she recognized his passion for and dedication to the long term care insurance industry.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from St John Fisher College as well as his Certified Healthcare Consultant (CHC) designation from Perdue University. He lives in the Rochester, NY area with his wife, Barbara.
